"July of 2004 found our family moving to Effingham County on rather short notice as a result of my job change. Part of my moving expenses included a 5-day house hunting trip for my family but I'd been through that whirlwind before and wasn't entirely happy with the outcome of choosing a home on such short notice. We made the decision to rent initially and then shop on a more leisurely schedule. That fac alone made us less than an ideal customer but DiAnna Billington turned out to be our perfect realtor!

DiAnna first worked at securing us a rental home. This sounds easy enough excepte that the first one turned out to be in foreclosure and scheduled for sale on the courthouse steps. (A detail the owner had neglected to share withthe realty agency!) Delayed but not discouraged, DiAnna quickly arranged for an even nicer home for the same amount and made sure there were no additional costs to us for the change. Early August found us moved in and comfortable in our rental home (which then makes her job harder, of course!)

Over the next two months, DiAnna worked diligently to find us a home in our price range, with features and location we wanted. DiAnna and Laura would talk almost every day and DiAnna would call us immediatley on hot leads for houses new to the market. I'm sure I would have been discouraged if I shown as many places to any customer without a sale but DiAnna kept up the hunt. We received a call from DiAnna about 9am one morning in late September that a house had just been listed that morning in a subdivision that we liked. We were in for a viewing by 10:30am and had an offer signed and delivered by lunch! We all tok a deep breath (I'm sure she was at least as happy as we were to find a house!) and plowed into the process of buying a house. But we're not done yet!

DiAnna continued to work withus through the purchase process, helping us find the best mortgage, reputable insurers and inspectors to make the home purchase. "Upon accepting a job offer here in Effingham I was quickly overcome with two distinct feelings. The first feeling that came over me was the feeling of excitement. My wife and I both were looking forward to moving from the fast paced life of Las Vegas and settling down with our children in the country atmosphere of Effingham County.
